At the professional world championships in Abu Dhabi, precious metal was raining for the young Swiss professionals: with 11 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals, our country came second in the Nations' Cup - as the best European nation. We congratulate all participants and especially the winners for this fantastic success!
Electrical fitter Simon Furrer is one of 38 Swiss participants who took part in the professional world championship in Abu Dhabi from 15 to 18 October 2017. They came, worked and won: 11 times gold, 6 times silver and 3 times bronze are the historical record of WorldSkills 2017 from a Swiss point of view. Simon Furrer, who reported on his preparations here, was also in excellent shape: He won the gold medal in the discipline of "electrical equipment" - not least with our tools.
For several years now, we have been supporting the associations AM Suisse, Swissmechanic and Swissmem with tool sponsorship and funds; from 2018 we will also be supporting the Cantonal Bernese Association of Electrical Installers KBVE.
